This is the paint job I really like, the bike looks incredibly tough like the early hot rods they were. Like Brahma bulls versus quarter horses when compared to the present superbikes. No wonder they wanted some wide bars to race them. No sissy clip ons here... |

My Zephyr 550... |

This is my Zephyr 550. I've wanted to paint it like the early EL racers, with the different striping, but I don't particularly care for Kawasaki Green (based on a green used by American Motors on early 70s Javalins). I thought about semi-gloss black with blue/white stripes, but semi-gloss is actually harder to keep up than regular glossy paint. |
